We started off our July by going blueberry picking. I can't tell you how wonderful it was to get up early, buckets in hand, and begin gathering one of my all time favorite super foods. Sophia especially enjoyed wandering through each bush picking up all the ones Scott and I dropped. She actually was a big help...even though just like Sal she seemed to be eating more than she picked! We spent our 4th of July listening to blue grass thanks to pandora, making blueberry muffins and coffee cake, and going to church. Later in the evening we watched Pollyanna, had a fire out back with s'mores, and watch the Lookout Mountain fireworks from our backyard. It was a laid back sort of day which I was extremely grateful for.
