"Help me, my Father...to hold the faster by thy garment's hem; When my heart sinks, oh, lift it up, I pray...thy child should never fear." ~George MacDonald

Winter has graced us with her icy touch here in the southeast and like a true northerner I'm excited. Sophia was thrilled when the snow came soft and gentle, reminding her of little white fairies whirling to the ground. We bundled her up despite the protests of the itchy wool scarf around her face. I watched from the window as Scott and Sophia frolicked in the powdery snow. Louis contented himself by churning his slobber into a frothy mustache as I made some abuelita topped with marshmallows. And yes that is ice on the inside of our drafty windows!
